In der Feldwebel Laufbahn durchläuft man neber einen grundlegenden Führungsausbildung theoretische und praktische Prüfungsabschnitte. Nach positivem Absolvieren diese Schritte muss man innerhalb einer Operation eine Führungsaufgabe übernehmen und diese erfolgreich durchführen. Wenn dies geschafft ist folgt die Beförderung zum Feldwebel, welche einem zum Führen eines Trupps autorisiert.
